Surge Diverters provide protection from external sources (i.e. lightning) and are used where the extra cost of multi-stage filtering is not justified. They are single-stage, shunt connected devices, which are generally used for point-of-entry (main switchboard) protection. They provide coarse protection that is suitable for the protection of non-sensitive equipment.
Please Note: Surge Diverters require installation by a Licensed Electrician.
